First flowering and the lip is very broad. Cattmad.

Lovely! My favorite Catt species, but I'm a bit confused. I alwayse thought these were spring bloomers, but this is the second one posted from the southern hemisphere. Mine is in sheath right now, which means it will be blooming at about the same time as yours. Am I totally off base here?

Hi Kim, you are quite right, they do flower in the spring. This photo was taken during October last year. The accompanying photo was a plant awarded an AM also in October last year.Cattmad.
