Lovely, the colouring is good. You have a lot of great Cattleya's - I need to work harder on improving my culture.
A lot of mine hardly grow let alone flower but some are quite vibrant. Yours leave me wondering what it is I do wrong.

Hi, Don't be disheartened because of some difficulty to flower cattleyas well. I suspect you would have to grow these in a hot house in Victoria because of your cold winters whereas we have the perfect climate in Brisbane. Conversly, we cannot grow cymbidiums, oncidiums, masdevallias etc the way you do down there. I made a decision a long time ago and got rid of all the mixed genera to concentrate on growing one variety well, I chose cattleyas. In a previous comment you complimented me on the photos, I just use an off the shelf Canon camera and don't do any thing special for effect. Cattmad.

No I don't use any heat at all. Provided they are protected from cold winds they seem to grow really well for people. Not Blc's of course but Slc, Lc and Pot's grow really well without the need for heating. I think part of my problem is that I can't keep humidity up high enough during summer, but this is about to fixed.
P.S. People in Tasmania successfully grow compact cattleya's without heat as well.
