Default Cattleya Crème Brulée

The name couldn't be more appropriate to this vibrant flower! It is a well succeeded cross between Cattleya Chocolate Drop and Cattleya forbesii. It really reminds something like a burnt cream... hummm....!!!
Unfortunately, the registered name is "Creme Brule" (whatever is the genus name they are giving now!), an evident disrespect to the French grammatical rules once Crème is feminine and therefore the adjective must come in concordance, with the second 'e'. I chose to write it correctly, but this is a personal choice .

Thanks, Dana! I've been involved with orchids for more than 26 years now so... I guess I could amass a nice collection in all this time !

Good work with the spelling and the blooming.
So many of your orchids seem to have been trained. You have very few pseudobulbs and gorgeous blooms. Do you train your orchids so that they produce erect stalks, and do you divide them often so they don't become bushy?

Yum, just reading the name makes my mouth water, I love crème brulée! Thanks for changing the name on yours, I can't believe they would register is with only one e on 'brulée'! It has wonderful color, I hope Sue can find one soon.

I love it, Mauro, but I think I'm going into sugar shock after caramel, and now creme brulee!
