Thank you all. I'm glad I have people to share my success with that will appreciate the progress. My husband is sorta "blah" on the whole orchid growing thing. I will definitely keep you all posted as things develop. I can't wait to see these beauties reward me with blooms. GO TEAM MAYNARD!!!

Default Finally got blooms! Only took 9 years

It only took about 9 years, but one of the Catts survived and has rewarded me with some very beautiful blooms. Talk about patience on my part and hardiness on the Catts part. 3 moves, several pots, then being mounted. Now growing in a very cramped tank, with morning mistings and lights on a timer set for about 16 hours a day.

Sorry, that’s sideways. I’m posting from my phone and didn’t realize it would do that.

Wow, thanks for the update on the Catt, after so many years! It's so rare to find out what happens to orchids people are trying to save. Your endless patience paid off, those flowers are stunning!

Nice to see you back on Orchidboard by the way.

Congratulations! There is nothing more satisfying than saving a “lost cause” orchid; your reward may be years of wonderful flowering mixed with pride of accomplishment!

Well, this gives me hope that I'll still have some plants 9 years from now that I have today! I sure hope so!
