I got this in Sept. from my local Orchid Society Show. Only one bloom and less than 2 inch across, no fragrance detected.

Hi Marissa,

This guy is a beauty...and just wait a couple of years...it will grow quickly if given the right conditions, and you'll love it!

I have two Lc. Gold Diggers, this cultivar and 'Orchid Jungle'. Both are mid to late winter bloomers in my area, although the 'Orchid Jungle' is already starting to show some fattening in the sheaths this year.

I find it interesting how the same plant will bloom at different times of the year, depending on the location. My plant usually blooms in March.

David is very correct. Expect the plant to be a vigorous grower and it will soon grow into specimen size. I bought my plant three years ago in a 4" pot and it is now in an 8"
