I bought this plant from a grower in Merritt Island. The lady told me it is an Lc. Adolph Hecker, 'Mariposa' AM/AOS(this is the first orchid I have with "credentials").
I did some searching and the only info I found for Adolph Hecker was for a different Lc. on the AOS site & it said that the plant was developed circa 1960. has anyone heard of this plant?
It is about 2 feet tall, I got it for $25. The grower has two large houses full of mainly catts. They are older folks & sound like they would like to liquidate their inventory. Their houses are shade cloth type & the plants look like they have been impacted by the weather the last couple of years.. The one I got is one of the smaller ones & many were in bloom. Feel free to email me if you want their name, I didn't know if it was OK to include because they are not advertisers.

Reason: add name
Tim, LC Adolph Hecker 'Mariposa' has been recognized by the AOS 3 times. In 1977 it received a CCM/AOS of 84 pts - a cultural award. It also received an AM/AOS of 82 pts but I can not find the data on the award or even the date, although the entry number indicates 1964. In 1961 it receved an HCC/AOS of 77 pts. At AOS | Home there is an explanation of all the awards granted by the AOS. Copy and paste this link AOS | Awards if you would like that information.
