The Cats are fantastic! I understand what you mean about strong fragrances and morning sickness ('course my MORNINGsickness turned into ALLDAYsickness...my poor husband had to eat everything cold for 32 weeks!
I'm excited for you and your family! (but I feel inclined to tell you that your new baby will create some uh...ummm...not so nice fragrances that will probably cure the oversion you have now....!!!)
Not all orchid that are scented smell good. A lot of them I find very offensive. Some of the bulbophyllums are absolutely rotten smelling. I have been inclined in the past to believe that I had a dead rat in my greenhouse. Mother natures way of attracting the right pollinator, I guess. But then you have the coconut, chocolate, lilac and someone mentioned White Shoulders perfume for Neofinetias.
