Beautiful Wendy - thanks for sharing with us. What is the plant growing in? Looks like perlite?

Hello!
I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have a plant that I have had for many years and the label is marked Laelia Intermedia - Alba. I have not been able to find any information concerning this plant. Did they place this plant into the cattleya group?
