Thank you for the reply----I understand that Laelias are part of the Cattleya alliance---but should the plants label be changed----It is a old plant and I was wondering if they were all labeled Laelias and then changed to Cattleya.

If it is similar to a Cattleya intermedia var. alba then it most probably is.

I never heard, read, seen, etc... about Laelia intermedia. It must be a wrong tag. Some of them are very similar when they don't have flowers.
