Cattleya warscewiczii
First warscewiczii of the season and man, what a showstopper! I accidentally snapped the inflorescence while watering last year, so this is my first time seeing the blooms. The cross is 'Michael' AM/AOS x 'Stewarts Meteor' originally from Orchids Limited if I remember correctly. 4 huge flowers with amazing color (much more of a rich fuscia in person, it's very difficult to get an accurate picture in my grow tent) and great form. This is certainly a keeper!

beautiful! I'm glad you got to see it this year.
I got the same cross from SVO but it hasn't bloomed me for yet. Hope mine is nice as yours!

Wow, that's a really nice one! I suspect it's a shoe-in for an AOS award.

Thanks everyone! Here's another picture, with more true to life color, now that the blooms are fully open. Just over 8" across with a 3" wide lip. I'm thinking I may try and self it to see if I can get any viable seed
