C.rex blooming
This plant came to me from Peru, right before the pandemic. It took its time acclimating, but bloomed with 9 flowers finally. No special care, no dry season, no temp adjustments. Grown under 600w led panels.

Thank you. Indeed, the other plant is Serendipity. It blooms 2-3 times a year for me. Here is a pic from last december. I put the two plants together to show that rex is quite tall.

How do you achieve that? I'm assuming maybe your plant has several growing directions but then each direction blooms once every year?

This hybrid is known to bloom a few times a year once the plant matures, so it is not anything special that I am doing.

That is stunning. What a stately cattleya that is (and doing a very commendable job of outshining the always impressive Rlc George King too). Congratulations on flowering this nearly impossible-to-find species.
