C.rex blooming
This plant came to me from Peru, right before the pandemic. It took its time acclimating, but bloomed with 9 flowers finally. No special care, no dry season, no temp adjustments. Grown under 600w led panels.

Thank you. Indeed, the other plant is Serendipity. It blooms 2-3 times a year for me. Here is a pic from last december. I put the two plants together to show that rex is quite tall. |

How do you achieve that? I'm assuming maybe your plant has several growing directions but then each direction blooms once every year?

This hybrid is known to bloom a few times a year once the plant matures, so it is not anything special that I am doing. |

That is stunning. What a stately cattleya that is (and doing a very commendable job of outshining the always impressive Rlc George King too). Congratulations on flowering this nearly impossible-to-find species.
