My flowers are over 7" now that they are fully opened
I actually have two, a mericlone division and this original division.
About 12 months ago I bought the mericlone division from Chadwick's for approx $100 inc shipping, the most I had spent on an orchid at that point. What arrived was not up to my expectations and I emailed Chadwick's (I didn't ask for a refund or a replacement, just expressed my reservations). I got a message back that a replacement was on the way, and when it arrived I discovered it was an original division (listed for $350 at the time I believe). I kept Art Chadwick's note that says "guard it with your life" as proof of this generosity from Chadwick & Sons.
The mericlone division is just now finally pushing up its first new growth.
