Default Laelia lundii - Is this a bloom on the way?

Hello, myfriends

This plant has never bloomed under my care. It blooms in winter and last year it just grew new leads and lots of roots (btw, this plant is really suitable to be mounted due to its growing habit...it crawls alot out of the pot with many roots).
It blooms from immature pbulbs before the new leaves start to grow, which seems to be what's happening.

Some photos:

So nice that you got pics of the buds and the flower. Love the purple pattern too.

In most of the photos I've seen online, the lip is pink. This one, although not exactly blue, is not ink as in the photos. A nice little plant!

Huge flower for the plant size! That's a bonus too, along with that extra-dark lip.

The lip is gorgeous and the frosting all over the bloom, must be wonderful to see in person.
