Default Lc. Rabeiana

This is an interesting hybrid between Cattleya Dupreana and Laelia purpurata that has flared petals. Flares are in general a contribution of Cattleya intermedia aquini, but in this case the trait is probably due to Cattleya warscewiczii. The velvety lips are something!

Beautiful! I love it! I wish I had more growing space for larger sized Cattleya's and Laelia's!

Nice form, beautiful color. Do you stake or support your cats? I didn't see any supports in the picture. It appears from your post that you have quite a collection. How many orchids do you have?

Not always, Don, but most of times I stake them to transport, or when there are three or four large flowers that otherwise would be too close to make a good show.
Well, I've been growing orchids for 25 years, so I had the time to amass a good number of orchids. My collection has now around 2.000 plants and increasing!

2,000 orchids!!

Beautiful color. I love them. So many of your orchids remind me cotton candy.
