My Cattleya labiata and coccinea just bloomed.
It is bit too early for them to flower, but the recent record-breaking unusually long monsoon season with very reduced sunlight might have done the trick.
Some nibbling insect has severely chewed the flower of labiata. I saw some small crawling bug in the flower so I dusted the growing area with some insecticides.
And Catt (soph) coccinea...this is the third plant I am growing, for I was not able to grow this successfully before. But with the help of semi-hydroponics, I finally managed to grow this little gem of orchid.
