Default Ctt. Porcia 'Cannizaro'

[UPDATE - the 'correct' spelling is 'Cannizaro', not 'Cannizarro']

This kind of orchid has certainly been seen in Orchid Board forum before. Time for more nice photos of it, taken an hour or so ago.

The flowers are in the opening stages. Really nice contrast of some violet colours.

Wonderful to share these photos with everybody. My trusty C. Caudabec Candy, which bloomed 4 months ago or so, is opening new flowers again, as seen in one photo.

And some photos taken with morning sun a couple hours or so later. Much more refreshing with the sunlight. Taken with my old Samsung S2 mobile phone.

A nice change-up cute feature is that one of the flowers can be seen to have rabbit ears. That particular flower didn't develop an upper sepal. No dorsal sepal. Nice probabilistic outcome.

Above: rabbit ears, doing 'star jumps' or 'snow angels'. The overlap of the two petals creates that dark-coloured over-lap region that can be seen (in the over-lap region).

Above: the flower on the left-hand side is the one without the upper sepal.

Above: upper flower is the same flower - no dorsal sepal.

Also - the buds of those flowers (photographed last week) are refreshing to look at too.

DC ...... very nice words mate!

The good stuff is happening at all our places, combined! Recently, you showed a most beautiful image of a flower - Jackfowlieara Appleblossum 'Carmela'. Definitely got my attention in terms of ----- that was very appealing to see, and knowing that it has a fragrance that I would very likely love to 'sample' (smell!).

Also reminded me of how all these things - plants, orchids, family, etc (and internet too hahaha) keep us all nicely occupied during this super unexpected blindside of a virus activity!!!

Keep safe, and keep well over there DC!

The flowers have opened fully now. I took these two nice photos about half an hour ago.

Who cares if it's been shared before. Very nice blooms.

I love seeing the entire plant, new growths, sheaths, blooms. Thanks for all the photos!
