here I am in lima peru (work and orchid hunt).

visited our good friend Alfredo Manrique and his nursery. I came upon a really dark colored Cooperii,

to bulbs one with a female flower and the other pbulb with male flowers.

EVIL DARK cycnoches cooperii
.

males are just opening (yesterday)so this one might turn more dark when days pass.
I have never seem something this dark in this species. but please judge by yourself.

this plant is grown by Alfredo himself, so I take NO CREDIT other than bringing it here and the picture taken with my cellphone.
