Yes, I'd love to bring it to the meeting. It does have a second spike that hasn't opened yet, so it should still be blooming. Now I just need to figure out a safe way to get it to the meeting without snapping the spike off!

A box to set it in where the spike can rest on the side of the box and then some creative stuffing of paper to stabilize it all...that'll do the trick.

The spikes are actually a lot tougher than they look so a little bouncing won't hurt it...but stabilizing the plant and the pot so it doesn't fall is advisable....the fall is what might break that spike.

Some of these plants can be a little tricky to transport but I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Okay dont want to steal a thread but once these bloom, and finish do we begin the winter rest?

Mine is in the process of blooming and has now lost all of its leaves..
