Thank you all! Indeed, this is a great Hybrid, which I also strongly recommend to all Catasetum lovers!
as I said, I would have loved if it would have kept the reddish color, but it is still a great plant, and the shape, I think improved compared to the first bloom...
here is m other plant of this cross, which has a very different lip... like laughing bats

Another cool looking plant. Thanks for posting. I own a cycnoches (Jean Monnier seedling) & a cycnodes (Wine Delight - which has flowered for me - love it!). Fred Clarke is coming to our June Orchid Society meeting - looking forward to hearing him speak again and picking up my new purchases.

Very interesting! The name is certainly appropriate.

Well Paula, now we know who to go to for help & growing advice on our new ones! Amazing plant & well grown. Do you/have youpurchased many plants through Sunset Valley Orchids kavanaru?

SVO is a great place for Catasetinae, especially "novelty" hybrids... Unfortunately (for me!) Fred does not come or send plants to Europe (I think he might do if you are a vendor and order big amounts or so...) But Sam Tsui from Orchids Inn, comes on a regular basis to Europe and often has SVO plants in his catalogue... so, I have gotten several plants from Fred here
