I habe species and hybrids, and catasetinae always have a special place in my heart and growing area

(specially this year, a good bloomer would be very welcome... while on holidaysm all my catasetinae were serverely attacked by thrips - I lost my Cycnoches hageii and all othes just refused to bloom

Not even Ctsm. pileatum 'Oro Verde' which is always bloom without problems...

and that was a perfect excuse to by another Ctsm. pielatum which is starting to spike riht now

à la "But Sweetheart, you know I cannot live without blooming Catasetinae, and this year they are all skipping blooming because of the thrips... I need to buy a fresh one to compensate the loss!!!" and there I was with my brand new Ctsm. pileatum "suspected to be var. aureum"
