This one got me by surprise, as it's not even summer yet, and the plant is still growing.
Actually is 26-November today --- getting toward the end of spring, and almost getting into summer.
And noticed a pink colour thing that immediately drew my attention ----- as in ----- a fungus or mushroom growing on my orchid?!!!
Fortunately not! ------ instead, it turned out to be a flower spike, the colour drawing attention like a little flag.
If a case of flowering out of expected season ----- no problem ----- anytime is ok hehe.
This one has been growing in that spot - no direct sun, but fairly bright conditions each day. I've had this one for a few years now.
Growing in firmly packed sphagnum with scoria that fills in around the sphagnum mass -- along the wall perimeter in the pot. Watering wand for watering each morning - same watering method as for my other catasetum type orchids.
