Jason, can you recommend a few bulbos for me? I love the ones that have fat bulbs and seem to clump more than crawl fast. I have a Wilbur Chang and it's the type I love and I would like to get more like him.

Some that I have that are compact and grow in similar fashion to Wilbur Chang are...echinolabium, lobbii, grandiflorum, Meen Poison Rasberry, Meen Mercury Sandal x beccarii, and my dearei 'Matt'. The rest of my compacts are small, miniature, or micro. This pic is my Wilbur Chang.

Thank you so much Jason! I love my Wilbur Chang and I bought a fairly large one (about the size of yours) because I had to have it. Then I bought a biflorum because I love the flowers BUT the growth habit has me going totally nuts. I just can't stand it. I'll have a look around and see if I can't find some on your list.

A lot of people are afraid to grow Bulbos because of the scent, but even most stinky ones aren't bad until you're right next to them. Don't let that stop you from growing Bulbos. A cat litter box in a house is noticeable over a much greater distance than is a Bulbo flower.

I thought long and hard if I was afraid of the stink but the short answer is, no! Hubby passing gas has to be worse!
I forgot to mention I also have a papulosum so I'm afraid that's going to stink but the flowers are amazing!
Overall I just have to watch the growing habit because the fast creepers that are doing 6" between bulbs and all over the place make me nuts. My mind is much too orderly for that.
A nice orderly bulbo like Wilbur Chang just captures my attention. I spent about an hour after I got that one gently cleaning the old gunk off the bulbs so I can sit and admire his shiny green bulbs.
