Wonderful! that's amazing! Rather big actually for the species... it's a species complex of different types with varying colors green, yellow, orange... bit of a taxonomy mess. The one i grew years ago was half that size, so it's interesting to me. only bloomed when it was under my old metal halide fixture. that thing was like sun, really.
so you grow it on the windowsill? what's your humidity like? no space in the tanks but if I can grow it on windowsill then by god I will try!

Thanks Pattywack and silken. My other is a medusa and it does have a new growth but it is so slow, I think if it ever blooms it will be forever. Sorry they don't like you Leslie I still think it is up in the air if they like me

Humm this is the only one I have ever seen so I didn't know it is big for one. It is so hard to tell in a picture. It was my first bulbo and I thought it was small. I also didn't know they came in different colors. Yes I grow it in the windowsill and it can get low humidity here. It has been pretty good this summer I just went and checked in one room my gauge says 55% and the other one in the next room say's 50%. They can sometimes be 10% apart and I don't know how accurate they are. But my problem comes in the winter then it can get down into the 20's I ran a humidifier last winter and I did try and keep both bulbo's close to it. The thing died on me this spring so now I need to get a new one.
