Bulbophyllum lobbii Kathy's Gold
Got this a few months ago from waldor in Linwood NJ. What an awesome place to visit, we try to go once a year. Large wonderful bloom that has a spicy moth ball scent. Love the bobbing lip.

Thank you! There is another bud forming. I was on the fence about echinolabium (with the whole rotting flesh scent thing), but after seeing the bloom in person it is on the list. If anyone has a division, I am interested.

Spicy Moth Ball. Great description! Why can't they smell like Pizza?

Yeah you! Waldor is 1hr from me and one of the friendliest vendors/family you'll ever meet. They've been around a long time and do magnificent displays for shows. When i go,I usually pass right by the big showy stuff and find the bulbos, restrepias and more unusual stuff.Since you're in Conn.,you must also have been to J&L. Too bad they're selling tho.

I love J&L, I'd buy if I could. I'm sure it's well over my budget....
