Thanks Katrina I had forgotten I had put up the picture of the lobbii on OB.

The lobbii does get big, does want to grow wet and in Catt light. Give it those conditions and it is a weed.

I divided the plant a couple of years after the award with a hack saw. I donated the divisions to a couple of orchid events to raise money for them. I potted it back up in another 10" basket but changed to orchiata seedling bark. It is once again as big as the pic from '09.

Holy crap, that is a beast of a plant! I love it

I did put my lobbii in a clay pot but it might be a year, or 10, before it gets that big. Can't wait! That is one beautiful orchid, Brooke
