Medusae fall preview - growing 12 spikes!

Mine always seem to be a good couple of months behind yours.

Did you get any photos of the fourteen spikes in bloom? Must have been breathtaking!

This thing is finally looking like it's time to bloom.

Last year it bloomed six spikes on November 11 and then one more spike a month later.

Today, Dec 9, a year later, it has ten spikes starting to bloom. The other two turned brown a couple weeks ago. Weird that they would develop so far only to abort.

Not quite sure why it is blooming a month later than last year in spite of a longer summer and arguably better care (more water, sun, and fertilizer).

They are so strange looking. Mine has a new growth I just noticed, I'm so stoked.

All the spikes didn't bloom out, but here's a few at least!
