Bubl ornatissimum
Well it's been well over a year since it last bloomed for me. Still have no idea what I've been doing wrong [have had many new growths abort]. But finally it has bloomed again.

Wow thats gorgeous!!! You give me hope. I have several Bulbos, and one B. dearei has been very reluctant to flower for me, even though it puts out new growths all the time. One thing that might be a problem for me is lack of lighting.

Good Job! Very nice flower. Are they supposed to bloom more than once a year ? I know that most of my Bulbos only bloom once a year.

Beautiful. I'm not good with Bulbos. I have one shade-loving mount that may do something in the future, but the regular daisy-chain type bulbos just rot for me. I finally dumped them all to make room for something that will do better.

Well the next time you feel like dumping semi rotted bulbos, think of us bulbo poor folk first.

That's actually a difficult Q. To me, and my sis, it has more of a melon smell. To a guy at work it smelled like fish. 3 or 4 other people all had their own takes on it too. Some liked the scent, others did not.

Laura, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it has been at least 2 years since it last bloomed. I had actually forgotten I have had it that long..... *sigh* senility. What can I say? ....

What was I talking about again?
