Default Bulbophyllum Valley-Isle Queen

This one was a new purchase in the summer. It had two spikes one with a flower, a large bud and a tiny bud and the other with a tiny bud.

I know bulbos blast really easily when moved, and it came on a 3 hour journey home with us. The first flower lasted a while, the second opened but closed very quickly, then the first spike died back and the final bud with it.

But the second spike kept growing, and now has opened this wonderful flower and has another large bud and another small bud. Fingers crossed it keeps going and has settled well at home now

Good spot, it's Jersey x echinolabium & Jersey is lobbii x echinolabium, so a double helping of echinolabium.

Luckily it doesn't have a bad fragrance. I have Jersey as well and I've had a very slight wiff from that if I've stuck my nose right in it, not noticed anything from this one.

That's very pretty. I'm glad you're getting some flowers and that they're NOT fragrant. ^_^

Very cool looking flowers!!! I kind of laughed when I saw someone ask if it has fragrance because I'm under the impression that Bulbos smell like corpses to varying degrees. Not sure if that's true or not
