Bulb buruodence Male
Default Bulb burfordiense

This species was gotten from a senior orchid enthusiast in this region years ago. It may be the easiest one of growing and blooming of Bulbo I've planted. So far I've bred a number of ones. And it’s been blooming out one by one during the whole winter. There's slightly annoying scent in it. It was called as Bulb. arfakianum Green type in our flower market.

Another cool one! Is the scent on this one fishy as well?

Adam -
That is great - a new one to me! Why is it that the coolest bulbo's tend to have a smell that are not so nice?
You say it is easy to bloom and that makes this one another "got to have"!!
Thanks for sharing!
Steve

Hi, Steve:
As to the scent of Bulb, some specific insect might like that and be helpful for pollination. Orchid isn’t blooming to human after all, and we get used to it as well.
Good luck to your gathering of Bulb.
