Bulbophyllum rothschildianum
Just catching up on some pictures taken over the past few weeks of things blooming here in Florida. The color on this photo is not true to the actual flower which is much darker.

That is just fantastic ! I have a spiking bulbo too...and I thought it will not bloom for me this season...

Thanks guys, like I said before the photo doesn't do it justice, at it's widest point the flower is almost an inch across and very dark, one of the nicest I have seen in awhile.

Those are great blooms. I've only tried my hand at growing one bulbo and it was a rothschildianum. Never got to see it do much because the squirrels ate it. Is your growing space protected from such beasts?
