Bulbophyllum Daisy Chain/How to Grow?
I have had Bulbo Daisy Chain since 6/02 and it still hasn't bloomed. It continues to grow and look healthy. Does anyone have advice on blooming this orchid. Brenda

How do you keep it now? Did it experience any kind of root loss or damage when you first got it? Sometimes it takes a long time to recover.
I think this thread is better off in the Bulbo alliance svbforvm.

It's in a west window now, it's been in a east window before. Guess I'll put it out on the front porch and try that. Thanks for the replys

Hi Brenda,
what temperatures do you keep it at? I have heard some bulbos [in particular medusae] won't bloom if they are kept too cool.

Thanks Damian, I keep the house at 71 degrees in winter. I put it on the window sill because I thought it might be to warm. I'll try moving it outside. Thanks for your reply. Brenda

71 degrees shouldn't be too warm for it. it might be better in the 75-80 degree range.

Have you fed it? Lack in feeding this alliance seems to be a big reason for lack of blooms.
