Bulbophyllum serratotruncatum
I posted a photo of one of these in bloom last month. Another plant bloomed so I took the opportunity to photograph this very unusual orchid flower. Unfortunately the flowers has a very short life. The flowers will die off after a day or two. The flower stem on this bloom is 10 inches long. The plant is growing in a 2-1/2 inch plastic pot with New Zealand sphagnum moss as the media. I obtained this plant from Wilbur Chang.

Wilbur Chang from Kaneohe, Hawaii has quite a collection of bulbophyllums and other odd balls. He usually brings a tray full of blooming plants to sell to members at orchid club/society meetings. I got all my bulbophyllums from him.
