Default Bulbophyllum lindleyanum

One of my favorite plants. It blooms more than once a year for me and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the fuzzy flowers.

Wow!! That's a really cool inflorescence.

Thumbs up

Super nice Sue. How is it grown? Mine is in s/m plastic pot but struggling, semi-shade. I'm thinking it may want warmer temps than I'm providing.

Thank you. I grow inside under mostly LED lights. Like many Bulbos. it likes water. I originally grew it in a shallow plastic pot in sphagnum moss, but quickly started to climb out of the pot. It is now in a plastic tray to give it more room to ramble. As an experiment it is growing in live moss now. Seems to like it, but it is a bit more maintenance and attention required. I put down a layer of Leca clay pellets with a layer of the live moss over the top. I keep a layer of water in the clay layer.

I used that LECA-sphagnum method for some Bulbos. They did really well. I used plastic trays party food is sold in. When somebody brings a container of food to work - sandwiches, cake, crudites - I usually take the plastic tray and cover home for horticulture.
