Default Spathoglottis

I have some Spathoglottis plants and Anthuriums, both love :
the same media , I cultivated both with a mixture of Charcoal, LECA and a few pieces of bricks, they are in flowering stage. Are they distant cousins?
The only difference is Anthurium is shy of direct sunlight and Spatho likes sunlight. Both are happy with the same orchid fertilisers depending on growth and flowering phases.
These plants are not so fastidious like the conventional orchids

Spathoglottis are in family Orchidaceae (Orchids)
Anthuriums are in family Aroideae (Aroids)
They're both monocots, which is their least common taxonomic rank (not sure how to say it, basically the lowest level rank they are both in).

Spathoglottis is very easy compared to other orchids as long as you have the right climate I believe. They're very common here in Indonesia and I suppose they're commonly cultivated in other tropical areas. They seem to do fine with sun.

I dont have any but am planning to get some!
