Everything is Zen. Nothing is Zen. Clearer?

Beyond the experience of the experiencing self there is nothing. Nothing. Pure nothingness.

--Alfred North Whitehead, PR

That's about as zen as I am most days.

Whitehead was a mathematician. Did he leave the proof of this statement to the reader, or did he work it out?

That quote's from "Process and Reality" (thus the PR), but I'd say his lengthy CV was pretty good proof.

(I could say he only had to work it out when he was constipated. But I'd not indulge in such low humor.)

I had to study him...It was painful...Thankfully, I have forgotten.

First there is a mountain,
then there is no mountain,
then there is.

Not sure it's Zen.
Pretty sure it's Donovan
Or a very brief summary of Plate Tectonics and the Rock Cycle.

(I am not a fan of Whitehead. However his mathematical theory influenced the way we think about the integration of our world on every level. John, how you got us to this point is beyond me, doubtlessly you are laughing your *** off).
My simple point to the OP is that we bring beauty to the world around us. Orchids in an office can do that.

I do, Ray! Indeed, I've been laughing at the Donovan quote ALMOST as much as I've been laughing at my Whitehead quote and reactions thereto (gotcha Carol). I promise!
