It didn't seem to mind the water during summer, but now that temperatures are lower I noticed that if it stays wet for too long the leaves start yellowing. I got over 4 inches of rain in less than 48 hours, followed by temperatures in the lower 50's and it lost 2 leaves in a couple of days.
I was afraid the buds would blast but they developed just fine. The bulbs are ok as well, and to be fair I think they look nicer without the leaves.
