Help with identification and division.
The plant I have is a prolific bloomer and appears to have outgrown the pot that contains it. I need help identifying the plant and would like to divide it if it is possible.

It is a hybrid Dendrobium. It is similar to a Den phal type but I think it is a more complex hybrid, some influence from section Spatulata in addition to section Phalaenanthe. It is very unlikely to be able to get a definite ID for a hybrid like this.
Culture instructions for Dendrobium phalaenopsis types should be acceptable, and very easy to find. It can certainly be divided, best when new growth is about to get roots, and leave at least 3 mature canes in each division.

Yes, a hybrid in the section Phalaenanthae (bigibbum). Often keikis are produced as depicted in your photo #5. This keiki makes a strong division and is ready for repotting, so I wouldn't disturb the flowering mother plant.

Dendobiums should be underpotted.
When you are ready to repot, use the smallest possible pot, with abt 1" free space in the direction of active growth. Backbulbs should be tight against the side of the pot.
To start a keiki, use a 2.1/2" or 3" pot.

Or, if you must over-pot, then under medium. I have a lot of orchids in big pots about a half full or less of rocks, or whatever I am using as medium.

I agree they are Dendrobium-Phalaenopsis hybrid with bigibbum parent. Looking at picture #5, I don't think you need to repot yet. But you can separate the seven bunch trying to get out of the pot and make a new colony for them.
