So I ordered this plant from Ebay, and it came looking as if it had just lost its inflorescence. I trimmed the stem and put cinnamon on it, plonked it in SH culture (I seem to have luck with all my pseudobulb orchids in SH), and just sort of waited to see what would happen. turns out this is a great plant for Scotland. It is in a south facing frosted window, so it gets plenty of light, but is also quite cool a lot of the time, as the weather here has been cool...perfect. Here is the new growth that was just starting when I got the plant. It has taken off, and it looks like that thick sprout to the right is going to be another flower spike, I think? We shall see.
