Default media for trichiglottis brachiata???

Hi: I just bought a trichigottis brachiata at a Orchid show last weekend in merritt island,Florida.

This plant is in a 2" pot with moss as a media. The plant is about 12" tall. Should I maintain this plant in this setup or change it? Any and All suggestions of care etc. greatly desired.

Thanks

Hi! Mine has the base in a little plastic basket with some bark, but has made a lot of roots in the stem. It's growing in orchidarium, so humidity is pretty high during all day.

Lightbulb Media ? plant is outside

Hi: this plant is not in a controlled environment. It does have several roots coming out of the sides. You mentioned that yours is in bark in an orchidarium with high humidity etc.

Should I change anything as to my plants container/media?

I have this orchid plant mounted in tree fern pole = it can grow very tall and you can train the roots to wrap around the pole. Its a vandacious plant endemic to the Philippines that needs warmth and high humidity with very fragrant flowers.
