SO PLZ HELP.WHEN I BOUGHT MY NEW MIMIPALMER VANDA I WAS PUTTING IT IN A SMALL MANY HOLES POT.WHEN I WAS PUTTINGIT IN THE POT ALL OF THE ROOTS WAS CRACK SOUNDED LIKE YOU EATING A CUCUMBER PRAAP.THE PLANT IS STILL SMAL AND NOT STRONG SO ARE THE ROOTS STILL OK AFTER BEING PRAAP BY ME THE CARELESS ORCHID GUY
as long as they arent broken off completely should be okey. they will still grow and be of use until the cracks in the vellum heal or shoot out some green tips.
When you repot a plant that has lots of aerial roots like the vanda, always water the roots till they are good and soften up. Then you can bend them some to fit your pot without breaking the vellum on the roots.
