Default Best Way to repot Angraecum sesquipadale

Hey guys, Kevin here. I just got an Angraecum sesquipedale from norman's orchids that's blooming. Unfortunately, he grows his in sphagnum moss in a plastic pot with only one drainage hole (and for some reason it's not dead yet) and all of the sources that I hear from recommend a well drained mix that needs to stay consistently moist. The problem is that this orchid hates root disturbance and may sulk for years if repotted. So how do I get it in my medium grade orchiata without causing so much stress? Thanks!

I really think it depends on the plant. I've repotted so many rhynchostylis ( which apparently hate root disturbance) and they don't even care they just go on and continue growing. I've got top cuts of angraecum sequipedale with two or three 2 cm long roots and they didn't slow down they have grown more roots and large leaves in just a month from being cut. So I PERSONALLY BELEIVE that sulking is just a wives tale...
I would start by soaking it in a bucket of water for 30 mins and then should come out easily, then simply place it in the other pot and fill in with your bark..That's how I would do it, just my 2c

If you do decide to repot it into Orchiata I would add some short lengths of sphag because this plant needs to be kept moist.

During the summer I keep mine potted in LECA, sitting in a saucer of water. During the winter I water it on sunny days.
