Congratulations on the spike! I have two but they are still a little small to bloom. Now I know what to do when they do finally send out a spike.

My schilleriana is small, just a four inch pot, so it dries pretty quick after watering. I was watering it twice a week in the summer. It does get softer leaves when its thirsty. A little more than half of my bigger phals are good with every ten days now, but some get thirsty before that, so they are a little too dry by the time I get to them. They will all make it through though. Im a careful neglector. ;-)

I moved my schilleriana into the other room with my mini phals. I never neglect my minis :-P they are under the grow light.
