Just curious, when I bought my Anachielium cochleatum 2 years ago, all of the existing pseudobulbs were short, fat, and almost circular. Since owning it and growing multiple new pseudobulbs, every new one has been long and very elliptical. All of the descriptions state that the pseudobulbs of this species are oblong to ovate and I was curious what (if anything) caused the shorter, rounder pseudobulbs to form. Was it a cultural trigger, or simply a maturity issue? The old pseudobulbs are rather large, but drastically different shape. The plant is healthy and blooming. Just a weird observation
