First I need to figure out how to upload pictures. Probably won't be until after Christmas before the orchidarium is completed.

Do you grow it, too?
I am really excited about the discolor. I love fragrant orchids.

I used to have both Mormolyca ringens and Warscewiczella discolor. I no longer have them.
The plants I got from Andy in the sale were:
Anthogonium gracile
Dracula neisseniae
Holcoglossum wangii
Platystele orectoglossum, (I think the person who uploaded the information on Andy's website spelled it wrong on his site, because when I did a Google search, there was no such thing as Platystele erectoglossum, but there was a Platystele orectoglossum, which also goes by the synonym of Platystele dasyglossum. I also believe that the name tag that came with the plant has the incorrect spelling as well. Photos on the IOSPE for Platystele orectoglossum, for the most part, matches the flowers that are on the plant I got. It's stuff like this that's the reason why I'm such a stickler with spelling the orchid's name correctly.)
Stelis sp. Brazil
Only the Anthogonium gracile, Holcoglossum wangii, and Platystele orectoglossum are in bloom.
Photos of both Anthogonium gracile and Platystele orectoglossum are very difficult to photograph well with the current photographic equipment I have, so it's a shame I can't show a good photo of both of these orchids.

I sent Andy an email message with photos because I had some questions about the plants I got. When I spoke with him about them, he made helpful remarks about other orchids he could see in my photo and gave me a wealth of growing tips. It was like having a pro in the greenhouse with me. That's the kind of behavior that wins this orchid lover's loyalty!

It should bloom soon. They are 'always either in bud or bloom' according to Andy's.

Wow, Philip, you got some very good ones! I am trying to stick with the easy to grow category (or at least easy to grow for me).
Andy is a pro. He and Harry seem like really nice people who care very much about orchids.

Philip, I had to get this one, too. I'm pretty excited about this, but do you know how to care about this species? I haven't found much info about this species. The Andy's info says let it dry between watering. But looking at the plants, they look like they were kept pretty moist (lots of liverwort growing). How are you going to keep it for the dormant period (temp & water)?

Judging from this, pretty dry during dormancy:

They appear to be lithophytes of limestone outcrops.
Once they finish blooming, I'm going to remove the liverworts and put some limestone in there.
If the elevation information on the IOSPE is correct, (1,200 m - 2,300 m), I'm going to be growing them outdoors all year round.
Watering with tap water will most likely not phase it at all.
The flowers may not be terribly long-lived, but they are holding up very well outdoors here. No signs of aborting anywhere in sight. Cute little bugger. I thought they'd be bigger, but apparently, they're minis.

Thank you. You have some nice plants too.
Yes, Andy and Harry are pretty nice and sociable. They're very knowledgeable about their orchids.
The plants they sell may not always be "picture perfect", but they're very presentable, and that is acceptable to me.

I tried self pollinating this species, and it looks like it could possibly be self fertile. It is very subtle, but I think the ovaries are starting to turn green and swell up. We'll see.

Pretty cool.
Thanks for the info. Mine hasn't opened flowers yet, but yours might be a bit pinker than mine. From photos on the web, there appear to be fair amount of variation (between pink and white).
It seems to be fairly widely distributed species. Here is some info, but not much habitat info: Anthogonium gracile | Plants of Tibet
I found a bit of info in Tanaka's Orchids of Myanmar Vol. 2, which is a beautiful photo book of natural orchids. The 3 volumes of this series were pretty difficult to locate when I was looking for them, but Amazon seems to have them in stock for good prices at this moment.
It says that this species grows at the margion of other vegetation, and receives fair amount of light. It was observed in sandy soil. It grows along with Habernaria, Spathoglottis, and Arundina species. The color polymorphism exists within populations.
