Are your sure the "roots" isn't mold? I've seen it a bit on some of my PrimeAgra and it does look a bit like fine white hair.

no no it's not on the media it's off the main stem. and it's not FUZZ. it seriously looks like the roots you'd get if you were trying to grow off a cutting: thin, white, stringy. they point outwards so they're solid enough. I can't get a good enough angle to take a picture that shows them.
