Help phal Baby's Baby???
Exclamation Help phal Baby's Baby???

Dear Orchid lovers,

Could you help me whats going on with my phal.
I guess my Mother phal got a Baby. Then from the Baby i got a small spike with leaves on top, but no roots. I did not separate the Baby from the mom. Should I do that at this stage?

Thank you

Wait for the phal baby to develop roots. Once the roots are healthy and a few inches long then separate it from the mother plant.

That's just one more if you would like one more. The two in he pot I would split if you wont one more pull it down and stake it in a pot that will speed things up with some roots. The thing is how many would you like?

Cool

I think one Baby is enough, as I have 4 more form others so big Baby with spike had plenty of roots, I placed it in a new pot. Now this spike with leaves I can leave as it is? It won't indanger the mother phal?
