Default Oncidium Questions

Hi everyone,

I just have a couple of questions.

1) My oncidium Pink bees finally bloomed and is also producing a second spike but the leaves are turning yellow but has deep green spots...is this normal? Does this mean my plant is using energy from the leaves to help grow the spike or is my plant sick? Is this where I cut the leaves down to the bulb?

2) My rescue bulbs have sprouted, when do I replant these? the new growths don't have any roots yet.

Looks like nutrient deficiency..have you tried adding a little epsom salt during watering. To add some magnesium for the leaves. I would not cut that leaf yet. Observe it a little more. Depending on your temperature there, if it is still cold, do not overwater the plant.

Cute rescue bulbs! I would keep it as is, till it matures a little more and form more roots. It is best to have a group of 3 or 4 bulbs. The older bulbs are just providing nutrient storage right now to help the new ones.
