Rerooting a Cattleya Orchid help.

Hello everyone! I rescued a mini cattleya orchid from Lowes Foods. It is a Pot. Paradise Beauty Marcela. When I removed it from it's pot, literally all the roots were not viable, sadly. However. It's still holding strong and I have the bottom part all wrapped up in moist spanghum moss. Typically how long does it take before they send out new roots? Anything special I should be doing to help it? Sadly I don't have any kelp, wish I did I could spray. I appreciate all the advice! Also, I did clean up all the dead and rotted roots before I wrapped bottom in spanghum moss. Thanks again!
