Phal roots total mush. Desperate for advice :( Female
Default Phal roots total mush. Desperate for advice :(

I am admittedly an atrociously ignorant newb. I have a post in the introduction group explaining how I became an orchid owner etc. These roots belong to the first plant I acquired I did not realize until tonight when I got a chance to check out the roots (never even knew to and never would have had it not been for this wonderful forum and members here). I was horrified to see that there was no drainage hole (duh!!!) and the roots were immersed in water Most of the roots are clear and mushy/gel like. I'm afraid that I've killed this beautiful, living thing through my ignorance. I'm posting from my phone and it seems it will only let me upload one pic per post. I have a couple more pics that I'll post (or try to) below that I have the slightest glimmer of hope that may show some roots tht are potentially salvageable and that someway, somehow, my beautiful baby can be saved...please, any and all responses will be most appreciated.
